DIRECTIONS (click here for printable version) From downtown Ithaca, NY: Take 79 West out of Ithaca, checking odometer as you leave town, i.e. you are going over bridge just before going up hill. At about 1.7 miles uphill you'll see City Lights B&B on your Left. Slow down after you pass City Lights and look for the Rachel Carson Way road sign next on your Left. There are red newspaper boxes, large gray mailboxes, and a wooden bus stop shelter there. The incline become much less steep there too. Turn Left onto Rachel Carson Way and follow directions from Rachel Carson Way below.
From Enfield and points West on Rt. 79: Take 79 East towards Ithaca. As the view of Ithaca's east hill opens up to you look for road signs indicating steep decline (picture of truck on an incline) and a wooden bus stop shelter. Slow down and look for the Rachel Carson Way road sign on your right. There are newspaper boxes and large gray mailboxes there too. If you pass City Lights B&B on your right and start going down hill you've gone too far. Turn right onto Rachel Carson Way and follow directions below.
From Rachel Carson Way entrance on the 79: Drive 4/10 of a mile - no greater than 15 MPH please, thanks - and look for carports on your left. Once past the first carport on the left, bear left at fork in the road, looking for Visitor Parking sign. Park in Visitor Parking on your right or spots just beyond that by Basketball Net. The east entrance of 202 Rachel Carson should be within view, by a footbridge, at the edge of the SONG (West) neighborhood). It is a brown hemlock sided home with burgundy metal roof.
